Just across from the Clock Tower and near City Hall.

Here you can find nu-merous English maps and monthly news publications
(including What's on in Sapporo).

Many magazines and international papers are in stock.
The Plaza provides a place to meet other foreigners and citizens of Sapporo and to participate in international events.

The Sapporo Host Family Association is in the Plaza and will assist in matching applicants with suitable host fami-lies.

The Plaza provides volunteer interpreters and translators of English,
German, Chinese and Japanese to help you communicate with others, un-derstand written documents or simply make a connection.

Discussion groups called "Let's Talk" (in Japanese, English. German, Russian, Korean and Chinese) meet socially once a week (Japanese/German: twice a month),
and a free message board unites buyers and sellers of goods and services.
